Personal information (“PI”) means any information that directly and clearly identifies an Individual (such as, name) or can be used in combination with other information to reasonably identify an Individual (such as, gender or age). Sensitive personal information is a subset of PI that is more sensitive in nature than PI. It reveals race, religion, origin, political opinions, union membership, sexual preferences, sexual orientation, genetic data or biometric data.

Collection and Use of Information
If you’ve made a request for service through a submission form on res-com.plumbing or res-complumbing.com, we collect personal information per your request in order to contact you back at our earliest convenience – either by email or phone.

As is true of most websites, we automatically gather certain information in order to improve the overall experience on our site and to help with troubleshooting. Some of that information includes device type, IP address, time and date of visit, browser type, referring pages, session start/stop time, and time zone. We may use this information to improve our website and market our services and/or promotions to you in the future.

We collect your PI when you:

• Ask us to provide job estimates and you give us your PI with your request;
• Communicate with us by telephone, email, one of our websites or hard copy correspondence;
• Reply to one of our special offers, request a quotation, or subscribe to our promotions.

If you opt not to provide your PI to us when requested, we may not be able to perform as expected and/or fulfill our obligations to you.

Res-Com does not sell your PI to third parties for monetary payment.

We may transfer your PI to third parties where Res-Com does not receive a monetary payment.

• When you request us do to so, or provide your consent to us to do so;
• To Service Providers, such as payment processors, that process your PI for services rendered.

Rights Regarding Your PI
When you contact Res-Com to exercise any of the rights you have, we may request information from you to confirm your identity. If we cannot verify that the Individual making the request is you, we may deny the request. There is no charge to request and receive your PI. 

In some cases, Res-Com may be prohibited by law, agreement or legitimate interest to fully comply with your request. When those situations arise, we will inform you of why we are unable to fulfill your request.

Security of Collected Information
We are committed to protecting the security of the PI we collect from you. Res-Com uses reasonable physical, technical and administrative safeguards to help protect the information from destruction, loss and unauthorized or inappropriate access or use.

Third-Party Websites
Our website may contain links to third-party sites. When you click on a link to another site or location, you will leave our site where another entity may collect personal information from you. We have no control over and are not responsible for these other sites or any information they may collect from you.

Marketing Communications
Occasionally, we may want to communicate with you about Res-Com news and updates related to our services, and any products that may benefit you from a performance or cost savings. You may choose to stop receiving our marketing emails by following the unsubscribe instructions included in these messages, or, simply send us a written request via email.
